Cocoa Brown Oscars
1940's Golden Glamour
Last week we've attended the "Cocoa Brown Oscars" event to celebrate their launch in the US
. Yes! Cocoa Brown Products are going global! You can purchase them in the US in Ricky's (check them out HERE).
We were invited to come along to a private screening of a classic black & white movie - The Philadelpia Story at the Irish Film Institute. The dress code for the evening was 1940's Golden Glamour, which we were really excited about.

Clerys
Fashion is in full bloom at Clerys SS15
Wednesday started very early for Stylegamblers. We were attending Clerys first major fashion show this year in the rooftop space of the iconic department store. The room was styled to resemble a cherry blossom garden in bloom. We were enjoying the show against a backdrop of the Dublin skyline. Dorans at
The Tea Rooms treated us with cakes and fresh fruits, washed down with luxurious pink lemonade and coffee (much needed).
Show was filled with floral and graphic prints, pastels and ethnic inspired pieces. Our favourite part of the show was 'On the Safari' teamed outfits. Utility khakis teamed with animal prints, this trend is daring and wild.
“Our spring/summer show is all about surprise and delight” commented
Judy Cimdins, buying director for womenswear at Clerys. “This season, we
have taken our fashion friends to a new space, presented
as they have never seen before, and we showed our key brands in a fresh
way. Labels like East, White Stuff, CC and Joules are ideal for
updating your wardrobe for spring/summer and high street favourites such
as Miss Selfridge and Warehouse offer key pieces
at such affordable prices.”

It was a great morning spent in the iconic institution with amazing people from the fashion industry. We had to leave this satorial paradise quite early (reality calls), but there was time for little chats and swing pictures too ;)
Thank you Clerys for having us and our amazing goodie bags.

Bomber jacket by Agata
BOMBER!!!
Jacket - Zara (sale)
Shorts - Levi's (vintage)
Tights - UK Tights
Boots - H&M
Trend for bomber jacket is coming and going throughout fashion decades, I fell in love with it first in my teenage years. All cool guys had it and they were wrapping their girlfriends arms. I was bit annoyed, because it was extremly hard to get one in my size and my boyfriend didn't had one ( maybe he wasn't cool enough? heh..). This green bomber from Zara reminded me of all those feelings from the past and I decided to get one. I love the silky fabric which is adding femininity and delicacy to this military trend. I like it even more because of the color and fur collar, but unfortunatelly it's not double sided. Well, you can't have everything.
I was doing some spring cleaning in my wardrobe and I came across my truly loved shorts so I decided to pair it with my new purchase.
Cherry on the top are dotty tights which we've got from UK Tights few weeks ago. If you're looking for good quality tights, check them out, their range is massive! I couldn't wait to wear them, but weather wasn't kind enough.

NYFW collections
New York Fashion Week A/W '15-16 Collections
written by Agata
As we were all bombarded by social media with photographs of all the celebrities outfits from NYFW, I want to turn your eyes into runways and my favourite collections. For those of you,who not necessarilly, fell in love with the Sixties structure, Seventies ease and brash Eighties, I have bad news! Runways were packed with staples from those decades. So while New York Fashion Week is over, I'm leaving you with this small summary which might be an inspiration to your future outfits.

70's print by Veronika
Patchwork
This week we talk prints and to be exact Seventies prints.
Our love affair with this decade continues and we love exploring new ways to wear the biggest trend of the season.
If you follow us on social media (INSTAGRAM or TWITTER) you've seen that we attended the Into the West Blogger Network event in the exclusive Radisson Blu hotel in Galway couple of weeks ago. (You can read more about the event in our detailed post HERE).
I was on a hunt to find the perfect outfit for this event for weeks, but my work schedule and blog work left me with very little spare time. That made me to run around last minute to try and find something to wear! Shop after shop I couldn't find anything that stood out, so I thought I will have to improvise and wear something I already had in my wardrobe.
Just as I was about to give up, I spotted this mini dress in Zara. I was instantly mesmerised! I adore the patchwork print that literally screams Seventies. Even though the dress has many different patterns, it is very easy to style because of its monochrome colours. I paired it with over the knee boots, trench coat, floppy hat and I tied a scarf around my neck.
Other ways to wear this dress:
You can layer the dress over black wid-leg trousers or flares. And when the weather gets better I would wear it with platforms and fringed suede jacket.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my post.
Stay Style Gambling,
Veronika
